What is FNKN all about ?

Established in 2014, FNKN (Foreign National Keepers Network) is a non-profit charitable organization with the mission of offering support and aid (non-monetary) to Expats, while also promoting positive relationships with local Filipinos and Government Departments. We have obtained official registration as a nonprofit NGO with the SEC, BIR, and the City of Davao. Our organization functions entirely on a voluntary basis, with no individuals receiving any form of financial compensation.

Responsive

FNKN Davao was founded in 2014 with the purpose of offering expats guidance and assistance, fostering strong links and relationships with local Filipinos and Government Agencies, as well as contributing to the well-being of the local community, and establishing a social network for its members and their families and acquaintances.

Since its establishment, our membership has flourished, currently exceeding 80 individuals from approximately 15 different countries.

Through our collaborations with various government agencies and local enterprises, we are able to effectively serve the community that has embraced us.

All foreign national are welcome to join FNKN Davao.

Funding

Our organization operates solely on a voluntarily basis, with no one receiving any financial compensation.

Every Peso donated is used to serve the community

All operating expenses are covered by membership fees, allowing us to allocate 100% of donations towards our charitable causes.

Donations from business and organizations, as well as regularly held fundraising events are major funding contributors.

Donations and contributions, however large or small are greatly appreciated both by ourselves and the local community who are the true beneficiaries from the generosity of our donors.

Projects & Initiatives

As well as projects and initiatives identified and carried out by our members we also collaborate with local Government Agencies such as Community Affairs and Community Relations Departments of the Davao City Police, as well as local community officials.

Previous initiatives include funding and providing food and rice to the less fortunate, providing prepared meals to the community, and collaborating on drug education projects with local authorities. We also engage in building and maintenance projects, providing labor and materials to contribute to the well-being of the community.

Our assistance is in the form of goods and services, rather than cash, ensuring maximum impact on the welfare of the local community.

Among our objectives are:

  • Coordinate with embassies and PNP in times of emergency
  • Monthly meetings to discuss issues that affect the group and expats
  • Member/Family social events and fundraisers
  • Relationships with applicable Government agencies
  • Charitable assistance to our local communities
